Prior to founding Enigma, Hicham managed the private sustainable finance program at BMCE Bank, in partnership with the World Bank, to create models for large-scale alternative energy projects in Africa. Hicham received a B.A. degree from Columbia University, where he studied philosophy and mathematics.
Marc has deep expertise in the technical and cultural aspects of harnessing data to transform organizational operations. As a fellow at the Columbia School of Journalism’s Brown Institute for Media Innovation, Marc collaborates with journalists to develop new approaches to data-driven storytelling. He holds a PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of California and has received fellowships from the National Science Foundation and Intel Labs.
Mohamed oversees product strategy, development, go-to market and customer success. Previously, Mohamed founded Greendizer, a B2B invoicing solution based in Paris, France, and Megapolis, a road traffic management solution based in Casablanca, Morocco.
Craig oversees Enigma’s outcomes and goal setting, and is responsible for building and maintaining the company’s industry-leading data asset. Previously, he was an engineer at BuroHappold, where he leveraged data to design and manage global infrastructure projects. Craig holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
Mike was New York City’s first Chief Analytics Officer and Executive Director of the Financial Crime Task Force under Mayor Bloomberg. Previously, he served as Counsel to the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and Deputy Director of Regime Crimes Liaison’s Office in Iraq for the trial of Saddam Hussein. Mike began his career as a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Isaac leads Enigma’s design and marketing teams and is responsible for the development and growth of the company’s brand experience. Previously, he was a Creative Director for clients ranging from growth stage startups to leading brands that include Nike, Apple, and Arc’teryx.
Ryan leads engineering and data science efforts at Enigma. Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Goldman Sachs, where he developed natural language models to facilitate fixed income trading. Ryan holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MS degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Rebecca has extensive experience across multiple business units, regions, and all aspects of HR. Prior to Enigma, she was SVP of people at Sailthru, a growth-stage marketing software company and spent nearly a decade at Johnson & Johnson. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University.
Angel joined Enigma from American Express, where she served as VP of the Global Financial Crimes Compliance – Financial Intelligence Unit, leading a centralized team of over 300 people in more than 40 countries. Previously, she served as a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney.
Ari oversees finance & operations and supports key business development efforts at Enigma. Previously, he was SVP, Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships at BuzzFeed and also served as General Counsel of Tumblr, where he managed the legal, public policy, trust & safety, and community management functions. Ari holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and SB & MEng degrees in Computer Science from MIT.
